Revised inheritance law as of January 1, 2023

The revised inheritance law is more flexible than before.

At a meeting on May 19, 2021, the Federal Council decided to bring the revised inheritance law into force on January 1, 2023. With the new inheritance law, testators will in future be able to dispose freely of a larger part of their estate.
